About Us

IFKA was formed by Paddy Toland in 2006, Paddy a former World Champion Kickboxer and  property developer from Derry. Paddy seen that thing’s would need to change if Irish Kickboxing was to move forward.  Irish Kickboxing was held back for far too long because of lack of investment, unity and understanding of advancement of sport in the modern world.

Paddy believes that like anything money must be spent to achieve any positive out come so IFKA was established with the idea of bringing these areas together and to move kickboxing forward, by employing people on a full time bases to make contacts with the media and try and involve corporate sponsorship.

Paddy has seen that there is great potential for the sport of Kickboxing within Ireland and Europe as a whole, he also knows that this will take time and patience to make the progress that the sport deserves, but he is sure over time Kickboxing in Ireland will gain its rightful place within the arena of sport in Ireland.
